A strategic session called "BioAgro 2026" was held at the Rosselkhozbank Corporate University, dedicated to the development of biotechnology in the agricultural sector. The event brought together representatives of business, government agencies, the scientific community, and investors. One of the key areas is the development of enzyme preparations, food, and feed additives. In Russia, a number of projects are being implemented to increase self-sufficiency in critically important components for the feed industry and food processing.
Over the past four years, around 300 preparations have been registered for the prevention and treatment of animal diseases. Attention is also being paid to the development of domestic vaccines and veterinary medicines, genetics and breeding in crop production, the implementation of the Large Livestock Project, and the development of domestic genetics.
