Russia Increases Exports to Africa

Russia has increased its exports to Africa, with a significant rise in agricultural product exports, and is also exploring opportunities to increase exports to China.

Revenue from the export of Russian plant-based oils increased by 17% in the first half of the year. Russia increased exports of agricultural products to Africa by 1.4 times in the first half of the year, to 11 million tons. The potential for exporting oilseed products from Russia to China by 2030 is estimated at $2.6 billion. Russia and Kazakhstan signed memorandums on the supply of agricultural products.
