The Russian Ministry of Agriculture reported that as of July 20, 2026, the daily sales volume of milk by agricultural organizations reached 60.2 thousand tons. This is 3.2% (+1.8 thousand tons) higher than the same period in 2025. Maximum sales volumes (from 2 thousand tons) were recorded in the Republic of Tatarstan, the Udmurt Republic, Krasnodar Krai, Voronezh Oblast, and Kirov Oblast. The average daily milk yield per cow in the country was 24.6 kg, which is 1.2 kg higher than last year's level.
The leaders in milk yields were Kaluga, Kaliningrad, Kursk, and Lipetsk Oblasts, where the indicator exceeded 29 kg per cow. The data reflect an increase in raw milk production in the organized sector, which may affect the supply of dairy products on the market and the utilization of processing capacities.
