In January – May 2026, Russia exported dairy products worth over $245 million to foreign markets. Compared to the same period last year, the export volume increased by 19%. In physical terms, shipments grew by 14%, to over 104 thousand tons. More than 28% of export revenue came from cheeses and curds, 23% from fermented milk products, and 15% from ice cream.
The main buyers of Russian dairy products are Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Uzbekistan. Exports to these countries increased by 0.3%, 25%, and 58%, respectively. In total, in January – May, Russia supplied dairy products to more than 65 countries.
